Why you should see this show…

M. BBC has shared the stage with many national and international reggae artists including Tanya Stephens, Anthony B., Yellow Man, Carlos Jones, Jah Messengers, Sparticus, J.R. Blessington, Milton Blake, Etana, Sunshade, DubbStarr, and the Tropical Vybz band, The Ark Band, and others. Now she has teamed up with 3 other female vocalists to form The Queens, a soulful, powerfully dynamic mix of reggae, blues, R&B, and Hip Hop that is both fun and compelling. Ms. BBC has been compared by some as Cleveland’s version of Queen Latifa! She has that magnetic energy that makes her a force of nature. Come see for yourself!

Ms BBC Bio
Native Clevelander now known as Ms. BBC got her start at a young age when she sang lead on the Billie Holiday classic “God Bless the Child” in her school choir. Seeing the audience reaction, It was then that the light bulb went off in her head. She was already dancing and acting, and now she added singing to her arsenal. Starting off performing at house parties as her confidence grew, she also developed a penchant for writing and has developed a self-published novel series: Uglies of the Beauty Salon. Acting? Oh yeah. She was featured in a play written by Philly Weeden (God’s Gift to Women), a movie (Clique by Jenn Williams) and now another movie – Time Matters by Director Mikey Jah and AIGNE FILM GROUP.

She teamed up with the Conscious Eye Reggae Band and released a dancehall album titled Untamable, and two singles: “Bump, Whine, and Grind” and “Reggae Wombman.” She brought the song idea of “Hold the Vibes” to Carlos Jones who released it on his latest album (A New Day), and she has also co-written a song with Carlos called “Somethin’ ‘bout Reggae Music.”
