The region’s top reggae artists are spending their Sundays this summer at the Music Box! We’re serving up fabulous and FREE roots reggae, along with Jamaican food and drink specials on Sunday afternoons this summer. Catch some rays and some reggae while it’s hot.

Lazo & Exodus is a “feel-good” vibe through his combination of Reggae riddims, beautiful melodies, conscious lyrics and his uncanny ability to connect with his audience. Lazo writes songs informed by his studies in history and political science he holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto and his deep empathy for the human condition. Lazarus J. Finn Lazo began his music career at 15 years of age with a band called Black Blood whose very first album charted #2 and received extensive airplay in the Caribbean. This charismatic artist -Lazarus John Finn a.k.a “Lazo”, was born in Castle Bruce on the beautiful island of Dominica in the Caribbean. Soon after immigrating to Ottawa, Canada, Lazo formed his own band, Exodus performing his original compositions with Reggae covers.
Reggae Sundays Guest Guidelines
To ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, please observe the following:
- Doors open at 3:30pm. Absolutely no early entry will be allowed.
- Reggae Sundays have limited seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. Saving seats for later-arriving guests is not allowed.
- Entry is through the venue’s front door only. Climbing over the outdoor fence is strictly prohibited, as is entry through side doors.
- All silver outdoor chairs must remain on the riverside deck. The silver chairs may not be moved inside, or to the boardwalk.
- To ensure a safe, fun environment, Music Box does not allow bubble-making devices, balloons, or similar objects on site.
