Greeter

Summary of Position

Restaurant greeters serve as the first contact point for customers. The nature of a restaurant greeter job is such that they are the first restaurant personnel that customers interact with, accurately directing them to the appropriate room, concert or event.

Reports To

Guest Services Director

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet guests personally as they enter the venue
• Offer appropriate directions
• Scan tickets for guests attending concerts
• Accurately answer any questions guests may have
• Maintain a clean and organized front lobby

Qualifications

• Capability of communicating positively with guests to establish their needs efficiently and courteously
• Ability to work in a busy environment
• Computer literate
• Willingness to work nights and weekends
• Ability to control a busy environment
• Positive and upbeat personality
