Assistant General Manager

The Music Box Supper Club has an immediate opening for a responsible and experienced full-time assistant general manager.

The assistant general manager will work alongside the GM and lead our team by example–especially by maintaining a positive attitude and demonstrating strong customer service skills.

Our ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• The ability to hire, coach and develop employees in order to build a strong, cohesive working team and team atmosphere
• An outgoing, customer-focused personality. The person in this position will be interacting with our guests, in order to ensure we’re providing world-class service and food–and also taking steps to address any complaints in a timely, appropriate manner.
• Strong computer and POS skills

Other qualifications for this hands-on position include:

• Maintaining a high ratio of return customers by ensuring excellent service
• Practicing and maintaining safety for both our guests and employees
• Helping team members develop and acquire greater work skills
• Supporting our GM in executing marketing programs to meet/exceed sales targets
• Maintaining open communication with the General Manager
• Managing ordering, inventory, scheduling and staffing
• Coaching employees in all aspects of sales
• Ability to work well with others

Some experience working in a fine dining establishment also preferred.
