The Other Miracle at Richfield
Why you should see this show…
Join the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra as they introduce their new “Pop Series” with a fabulous show Sinatra at The Coliseum: Celebrating 50 years! This special musical tribute will take you back to 1974, when two icons of entertainment, Francis Albert Sinatra and Cleveland’s own Nick J. Mileti, opened the famous Richfield Coliseum.
In 1974, Frank Sinatra embarked on a six-concert tour with Woody Herman & The Young Thundering Herd conducted by Bill Miller, Sinatra’s longtime pianist. Dubbed “The Main Event,” the tour culminated with a televised concert from Madison Square Garden on October 13, 1974.
And thanks to Cleveland native Nick J. Mileti, part of that tour was the grand opening of his iconic Richfield Coliseum. So come out and join the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra for this once-in-a-lifetime event, as we revisit the First Miracle at Richfield with Round II, of Sinatra at The Coliseum.
