One Step Closer is a progressive-pop-rock cover band based in Cleveland, Ohio. OSC covers material ranging from avant-garde progressive/art rock to chart-topping hits by prog-pop supergroups. We pay tribute to artists like Genesis, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Asia, Roxy Music, Peter Gabriel, and King Crimson. 100% live, no backing tracks. Doing it for the love of the music!
One Step Closer Bio
Bill March (Bass, Bass Synthesizer, Vocals) Bill is a singer/songwriter/bassist/guitarist from Cleveland, Ohio whose original songs have received airplay on radio stations/streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. A Berklee alum, he has performed solo and with a countless number of bands in a career spanning over three decades. Bill has played with Jonah Koslen and the Heroes, Wally Bryson of the Raspberries, and is a founding member of Amherst Records recording artists Beau Coup. Bill can also currently be seen on bass and vocals with In the Heartland – The Music of Michael Stanley.
Andrew Prayner (Keyboards, Synthesizers, Vocals) Andrew has done keys, vocals, and guitar in Catch-22, Hangar 18, Tymz Up, Twist!, the Bill March Band, and Super Troupers. In the realm of prog-rock, Andrew played the role of frontman in The Cinema Show, a faithful Genesis tribute band featuring former members of Fayrewether.
Bob Lasher (Acoustic and Electric Guitars, Vocals) Bob has been an active musician since the ’70s, starting with a piano major at Kent State University. A self-taught guitarist on a $25 classical (far-too-high-action) nylon-string guitar, Bob has been a member of StoneGroove and SG Lite, and is an occasional live duo/trio performer. Always a lover of prog-rock, Bob’s now making it happen!
Ed Brown (Drums and Percussion) Ed is a veteran Cleveland drummer with five decades of experience in live performance and studio work with some of Northeast Ohio’s most respected musicians. Ed has performed with The Sittin’ Ducks, The Wally Bryson Band, Easy Crossin’, Satellite, and is a founding member of The Razzz.

Purchase of a ticket to a show in the Supper Club ensures you will have a seat for the concert. If you are attending a concert in the Supper Club with a party of two or more, please have one person make a reservation for the whole group to ensure you are seated together. If you are attending with a party of nine or more, you must call the Box Office to make your reservation at (216) 242-1250.
To better serve all our customers, we require that you arrive on time for your dining reservation. Arriving more than 15 minutes after your reserved time will result in the cancellation of your reservation. You will be seated for the concert, but you may be put on a waiting list for dining.
