Eric Elison’s Shows include all of Gordon Lightfoot’s hits, many deep cuts, and some of Eric’s own original songs that audiences say remind them of Gordon Lightfoot, and John Denver. Eric’s original songs are heavily influenced by his life in the West. His songs have an air of mysticism, romance, and adventure. No wonder fans call this Coloradan, “Lightfoot of the Rockies.”
From his home in Colorado, Eric Elison travels the US and Canada performing the beloved music of Gordon Lightfoot. Known for his incredible voice, six and twelve string guitar playing, and entertaining, easy going manner, he has become a fan favorite. He performs in Theaters, Arts Centers, Music Festivals, and other listening venues.
His Gordon Lightfoot Tribute Show includes hits such as: “If You Could Read My Mind,” “Sundown,” “Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald,” and “Canadian Railroad Trilogy.” Sing alongs such as: “Carefree Highway,” “Rainy Day People,” and “Beautiful” engage audiences, contributing to a festive mood. Eric also includes many “deep cuts” from Lightfoot’s substantial catalog: “Miguel,” “Steel Rail Blues,” “Affair on 8th Avenue” and some of his own originals that are popular with audiences.
Eric Elison Bio
The second event was performing his original music at Nashville’s famed Bluebird Cafe in February of 2020. “The Bluebird Cafe is one of the most sought after gigs among independent songwriters in the US,” says the retired Navy Commander turned Singer-Songwriter. “Performing at The Bluebird, opened a lot of doors for me.” Eric seized the opportunity and built on it. Today, Eric is an established Principal Artist, and Songwriter. He regularly plays sold out Shows in Theaters and Arts Centers in the US. In 2025 Eric has dates in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, Ohio, and British Columbia.

Our Concert Hall menu is fast to the table and allows you to dine right in your ticketed seat. Tableside food service will start when doors open and the kitchen will close approximately halfway through the show. Tableside beverage service will continue throughout the concert.
