100 Things To Do in Ohio Before You Die
The Buckeye State, already known as home to the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, Pro Football Hall of Fame, Playhouse Square, Ohio State Reformatory, and Cedar Point, has a lot more to offer than what meets the eye! Author and Ohio native, Brandy Gleason, highlights these hidden gems and less-known locations in her book 100 Things To Do in Ohio Before You Die. During the pandemic, she switched her focus to Ohio to help rebuild the economy as hospitality businesses were struggling. Join us as she shares some of the beautiful sites and history that are in our own backyard!

Brandy Gleason Bio

Brandy Gleason is the CEO of Gleason Media, LLC., chief writer at Gleason Family Adventure, and creator of the Ohio Road Trips Facebook group. She has written four books, 100 Things to Do in Ohio’s Amish Country Before You Die, and co-wrote the Ohio section of Midwest Road Trip Adventures and Midwest State Parks, 100 Things to Do in Ohio Before You Die. She has spoken at National Conventions on education and conferences on travel, was a brand ambassador for THOR industries in 2021, and is currently a Heartland RVs brand ambassador. She has won numerous awards for her work in social media and writing at the Midwest Travel Network Conference.

Brandy loves to travel and explore and has a passion for the environment, sustainability, and the outdoors. She buckles up for a road trip any time she can, and her driving force behind her writing and social media is to encourage others to find their own adventures. One of her favorite quotes is “In order to write about life first you must live it.” by Ernest Hemingway, and she fully embraces each day.

The goal of the Cleveland Stories Dinner Party is to bring to life some of the fun, interesting stories about Cleveland’s past – from sports, to rock ‘n roll, to Millionaire’s Row, — the series will focus on tidbits from Cleveland’s past that will really thrill the audience. The Music Box is presenting this series in partnership with the Western Reserve Historical Society’s new Cleveland History Center. We think the Cleveland History Center is one of the most important museums in Cleveland. An unknown gem that Clevelanders should know more about, and support. It is the only museum in Cleveland dedicated to preserving and documenting the history of Cleveland. The Cleveland History Center includes two mansions, the Crawford Auto Aviation Museum, Chisholm Halle Costume Wing, Research Library, Kidzibits Hands-On Gallery, rotating exhibitions, and the Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel.
