The Lewin Music Legacy Scholarship Fund
Marquee Showcase Productions has been presenting talent competitions since 2014. Now in their 11th year they are presenting for the first time a talent competition for High School Students who are college or music school bound, offering a $5,000.00 SCHOLARSHIP first prize with 2nd and 3rd place cash prizes as well.
Northeast Ohio Music Educators are being invited to submit at least 2 (up to 10) of their top students to compete for the $5,000 scholarship prize. In addition, the teacher who submitted the winning student will also win $5,000 for their school’s music department.
The Competition is a professionally produced performance featuring the most talented local high school singers and musicians.
Top finalists take center stage on Monday January 12 to compete for the $5,000.00 college or music school scholarship. A panel of judges from the entertainment industry choose the top three finalists and then those finalists compete for the top prize.
Audience voting will be open to determine second and third place winners who will be awarded cash prizes.
Come see these amazing students compete. In addition to the competiton participants performing their individual musical number, they will all be featured in a spectacular opening and closing number. Contestants are encouraged to bring a cheering, voting crowd!
One talented college bound teen WINS a $5,000 scholarship. ONE supportive music educator WINS $5,000 for their music department. This extraordinary event brings together families from across Northeast Ohio to celebrate these talented teens and support their future in the arts.
ENTERING THE COMPETITION IS EASY If you are a high school student intending to further your music education, or if you are a music teacher wishing to submit your most talented students, simply send an email expressing your interest to: marqueeshowcase@gmail.com and we will respond with submission details.
