Why you should see this show…

The North Coast Country Showcase is an evening of great Country Music from right here in Northeast Ohio. The evening is also the release party for Lily Heidinger’s new single “Miss American Cowgirl.”

Lily has played all over Northeast Ohio, winning awards and wowing thousands. She was even nominated for “Best Country Artist” at the 2026 Cleveland Music Awards! No stranger to the Music Box stage, Lilly performed on the Rock Godz induction ceremonies show in 2025 and as a featured artist at the annual Frank Amato Christmas Jam in December of 2025.

Now, she puts her considerable songwriting skills to the test with the release of a song she wrote at the tender age of 16, just 2 short years ago. LIly delights in displaying her talents with her band “The Guys…” and hopes the audience will love her personal gift of music as much as she does!

The opener, Huffman Acoustic, is a husband and wife team that proves the best things in life can come from your very own home. These two really do make beautiful music together!

Lily Heidinger Bio
Lily Heidinger is a singer-songwriter from Madison, Ohio. At the tender age of 18, Lily has already got her musical chops down; having performed with and without a band at dozens of public events, to having written over 25 songs, with many more to come. Lily admits music has been a lifelong love of hers, as she began playing at the age of 10. Having been a child with a computer and cell phone in her hands practically her entire life, she is well versed with all things social media, and loves sharing her thoughts and works on line with her friends and fans.

Lily says getting her music “out there for the whole world to hear” is a dream she has. The passion and love she has for her craft is unmatched with the other talents she possesses…she liked sports as a kid, but nothing “stuck” like music. It could be because, as Lily puts it, “it’s in her blood.”

Lily credits her family for helping her develop such a deep love of music. Her grandfather especially, who always had his organ by his chair, ready to play and get the family to sing along. Lily would sit at the organ and learn songs that he loved, hoping to mimic the “music guy of the family…” He was gratified by her wanting to do so. She always looked up to him as a songwriter and he serves as an inspiration to her to this day.

Lily is a good student and participating in all things musical kept her interest in school. She loved being in Show Choir and the School Band and attributes that to her lack of stage fright. “If it is music, bring it on!”

Ashley McBride is among Lily’s biggest influences, due to her style of writing and performing, but mostly because McBride puts out such a positive message. McBride provides that “certain something” that Lily claims “sets fire to her soul and let’s her know she is going in the right direction.” Opening for Ashley McBride is a definite on her bucket list!

When asked how Lily comes up with the ideas for her songs, Lily attributes her memories as her muse. She says her mind is always spinning with clear rememberances, especially from her childhood, which is particularly amazing to her parents: that she recalls certain events so precisely. She says her goal is to relate these ideas and images to her listener, and proclaims that it all comes from a truly genuine place.

The key to Lily’s ability? She says she just waits for the right moments. Songs “get picked right of the air at just the right time. You can’t force that!”
