The Dave Banks Big Band teams with one of the finest “Elvis” tribute artists in the Midwest, Walt Sanders to present a tribute to Elvis’s legendary “Aloha from Hawaii” show! It is the 50th anniversary of the Aloha Show this year. This show will feature many of the songs from that special show, and not only will all the music be live, but all the musical arrangements will be performed by the powerhouse 16-piece Dave Banks Big Band as well as Walt’s personal backing singers! Dave worked with Elvis’s musical conductor, Joe Guercio and many of his former band members while in Las Vegas, and brings decades of professional show experience to the stage. Walt has toured the country performing his Elvis tribute shows and is excited to celebrate this 50th Anniversary event!
Dave Banks Big Band Bio
based out of Akron, Ohio and is led by Ohio native and 20 year Las Vegas veteran trumpet artist, Dave Banks. The band boasts of having the very top players in the Northeast Ohio area. Dave fronts the band with his soaring trumpet reminding you of Doc Severinson, Harry James and Maynard Ferguson. Their repertoire ranges from original compositions to standard big band favorites. Featured vocalists have included Michael Sonata, Stan Davis, Mery White, Shannon Eller, Britni Tozzi, Helen Welch, Don Dasco, Sandra Montevideo and Ron Davis.
Their library of big band music includes hit songs arranged by the best writers in the business. They have played to packed houses at the Cleveland Bop Stop, The Akron BluJazz Club, the Packard Music Hall, Carousel Dinner Theatre, The Tangier Ballroom and The Kent Stage.

Dining Option
Our Concert Hall menu is fast to the table and allows you to dine right in your ticketed seat. Tableside food service will start 2 hours before showtime and the kitchen will close approximately halfway through the show. Tableside beverage service will continue throughout the concert.
