    Hi Everyone,

We are excited to be reopening the Music Box. And even more excited Bob DiBiasio from the Cleveland Indians has agreed to be our storyteller on Thursday, June 18. We plan to continue our storyteller series this summer. But we are moving it to Thursday nights.

We are also making another change. We need to spread out our guests for appropriate social distancing. So, seating will be limited. We always have a high no-show rate on storyteller nights. A lot of reservations that turn into empty seats. So, we are asking people to purchase a $5 food & beverage voucher to confirm a seat. This voucher will be good on this night only toward your food & beverage purchase. We feel if people have a little ‘skin in the game,’ they are more likely to show up and enjoy the night. We won’t have seats go unused.

I hope to see you in a few weeks! We will be strictly adhering to all the guidelines issued by the State of Ohio. So, you can be assured we are doing these safely.

    Mike Miller

P.S. After you purchase your Vouchers, please be sure to still make a dining reservation in Open Table to tell us what time you will be arriving, and how many are in your group who want to sit together.

    Bobby DiBiasio Bio

Bobby DiBiasio is a 1973 graduate of Lakewood High School. He is Senior Vice President of the Cleveland Indians. His duties include being Team Spokesperson, Team Ambassador, head of the Indians Alumni Association and President of Cleveland Indians Charities. “The most remarkable aspect of this job is the close friendship I have nurtured with so many players I grew up idolizing as a kid in Lakewood. To consider Sam McDowell, Larry Doby, Jr., Gary Bell, Jim (Mudcat) Grant, Davey Nelson, Max Alvis, Herb Score and Bob Feller…to consider these gentlemen friends, guys I grew up rooting for…is special,” says DiBiasio.

The goal of the Cleveland Stories Dinner Party is to bring to life some of the fun, interesting stories about Cleveland’s past – from sports, to rock ‘n roll, to Millionaire’s Row, — the series will focus on tidbits from Cleveland’s past that will really thrill the audience. The Music Box is presenting this series in partnership with the Western Reserve Historical Society’s new Cleveland History Center. We think the Cleveland History Center is one of the most important museums in Cleveland. An unknown gem that Clevelanders should know more about, and support. It is the only museum in Cleveland dedicated to preserving and documenting the history of Cleveland. The Cleveland History Center includes two mansions, the Crawford Auto Aviation Museum, Chisholm Halle Costume Wing, Research Library, Kidzibits Hands-On Gallery, rotating exhibitions, and the Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel.
